Soldier Family Care Clinic

Jade Stone Engineering provided mechanical/electrical engineering and technical assistance to the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) New York District at Fort Drum for this new 22,500 SF construction facility.  This Family Care Health Clinic was constructed to serve soldiers and their families while stationed at Fort Drum.

 

Jade Stone provided the following:

  • Independent Technical Review (ITR) of design-build team project submissions. This included the verification of scope, quality, and compliance with design-build contract requirements.
  • Shop drawing and submittal review
  • On-site review of construction and workmanship
  • Contract mod pricing

 

JSE also assisted with the following:

  • Development of design-build documents for release to design-build MATOC contract holders.
  • Contract modification documents to include minor design elements for USACE.
  • Technical assistance to the USACE construction team.

 

Jade Stone Engineering served as the government on-site representative for commissioning activities for this project.  The building is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council and is slated for LEED Silver Certification.
