Fort Drum – Railhead Loading Facility

Railhead

JSE is assisting with the MEP designs for this $31M, multi-phase project.

JSE completed design work with the US Army Corps of Engineers by providing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering services for the design and construction of the new Railhead Loading Facility. The project included design for three new buildings, storm water improvements, loading/storage areas, parking areas, fencing/gates, and extensive site/utility modifications.

JSE’s scope of work included all MEP design for the three new buildings (Alert Holding Area/Scale House building, Railhead operations building, and Guard Shack) as well as site lighting and electrical service entrance coordination.

Work completed by JSE in the Alert Holding/Scale house building included interior/exterior lighting design, power distribution, designs for a double drive through vehicle bay with weigh in scales and fixed DACMS/Profiling system, IT/telecommunications design for (10) workstations, sanitary/domestic plumbing design for (2) restrooms, HVAC design and make-up air exhaust.

For the new Railhead Operations building, JSE completed designs for all interior/exterior lighting, electrical service entrance, electrical power distribution, IT/Telecommunications design for multiple offices, sanitary/domestic plumbing design for (2) restrooms, as well as HVAC design and make-up air design for the 11,900SF space.

JSE also completed Electrical, lighting, IT/Telecommunications, and HVAC design for the brand-new guard shack.
