JSE worked directly with NYS OGS and the engineer to design the electrical infrastructure associated with the proposed camping and equestrian center

JSE worked directly with NYS OGS and the engineer to design the electrical infrastructure associated with the proposed camping and equestrian center.  Significant design aspects included:

  • A primary metered electrical service including a 13.2kV distribution network including several pad mounted transformers, sectionalizing cabinets, and fused terminals.
  • Numerous RV power outlet pedestals with associated site distribution gear.
  • All electrical building systems.
  • All new electrical feeders and branch circuitry throughout the 91 acre site.
  • Electrical design associated with six (6) site pump stations, a water treatment system, and two new water wells.
  • Electrical materials and methods were specified to ensure compliance with NFPA 820 and NEC article 501 where applicable.
  • Implementation of nine (9) electric car charging stations consisting of a combination of level 1 and level 2 stations.
  • Generator receptacles and manual transfer switches were added to three facilities (ticket booth, water storage building, and caretaker’s cabin).
  • The entrance ticket booth will utilize solar energy to support part of the ticketing operations, and amenities for staff will also be provided.
