Jade Stone Engineering is proud to have partnered with GHD to provide the electrical engineering services pertaining to the Eastern Correctional Facility Manganese Treatment Program Project. This project required a new manganese treatment system located in the existing water treatment building. Additional work included: a new storage building, panelboard replacement, as well as the addition of water meters within existing vaults.

JSE provided the development of electrical site plans; connected/demand load analysis; single line diagrams; building floor plans; control panel riser diagrams; and an electrical demolition plan.
Design work for the project consisted of a manual transfer switch scheme at the existing well field; a replacement panelboard within the existing water treatment building; all electrical feeders/branch circuits and necessary components to all proposed equipment; all circuiting and electrical components required for the manganese system; replacement interior and exterior lighting and lighting controls; and a new electrical system for the proposed storage building.
Construction Administration for the project consisted of reviewing the Contractor’s shop drawings for general conformance with the Contract Documents and Contractor change-order proposals in order to provide recommendations regarding scope and cost as related to the contract.
