JSE was fortunate enough to work with the Olympic Regional Development Authority on the Bear Den Lodge project located on Whiteface Mountain. The project included an 18,000 SF addition housing a state-of-the-art learning center, bar, and restaurant and is part of New York State’s plan to invest in major upgrades to both Whiteface and Gore Mountain.

JSE served as the engineers for the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. Some of the major scope items included new Hydrotherm water boiler plant, proper ventilation to meet NYS Code requirements, gas fired water heater, commercial kitchen exhaust hood, energy efficient interior and exterior LED lighting and new addressable fire alarm system.
