SUNY Buffalo – New Sports Performance Center


The State University at Buffalo is constructing a new 15,000 GSF multisport Division 1A NCAA level Sports Performance Center to be located on the University of Buffalo’s North Campus and adjacent to the Stadium and Alumni Arena.  


JSE has teamed up with the University and their architect to provide professional MPE engineering services on this exciting new NetZero facility.  JSE’s scope of work included air handling unit and energy recovery units with variable air volume terminals to allow better control for the different sports areas, exposed ductwork that included tight coordination with the architect, fire protection engineer, and structural engineer to resolve all potential conflicts, water service entrance, domestic plumbing piping, sanitary and storm piping, high efficiency LED lighting, addressable fire alarm system, general power distribution for the multitude of athletic equipment, data distribution and sound system throughout the entire facility.
