SUNY Polytechnic was looking for a complete renovation of one of their main student housing facilities called Hilltop Hall. This renovation was to include the entire building to be NET ZERO. Jade Stone Engineering helped guide NYS Dormitory Authority in developing the Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Sustainability requirements of the project.
Part of the scope was also being the state’s technical adviser on energy modeling and advice on ability to achieving an Energy Use Intensity goal of 27 on this building. Another portion of our responsibilities is to assist with the monitoring of this project throughout construction.
