Significant design aspects included new mechanical and electrical systems associated with the proposed SBR basins/system, a chemical feed system, aerobic digestion system, tertiary filtration system, ultra-violet (UV) disinfection system, post-aeration equipment, and a sludge drying facility.
A new electrical underground infrastructure was also provided. Extensive electrical distribution design was completed to incorporate the new systems listed above.
A facility-wide supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) was coordinated with the SBR manufacturer.
