JSE worked with the Village Engineer to design the mechanical and electrical systems for the Village of Trumansburg Water System Improvements Project.
Significant design aspects included new mechanical and electric systems associated with the proposed treatment building addition, new well houses, new booster pump station, and renovations to an existing booster pump station.
A new primary electrical service entrance and associated gear for both the booster pump station and treatment buildings was provided as well as the design of medium-voltage, pad mounted transformers.
Other services included a new Emergency Generator System to support the proposed booster pump station and associated systems, the design of an extensive electrical underground infrastructure system including manholes, handholes and junctions (approximately 8,000 linear feet), and a Village-wide control system designed to monitor and control all water system improvements remotely.
During the project. JSE coordinated with the Village Engineer on a consistent basis to ensure the project stayed within budget and on schedule.
