JSE worked with the Village Engineer to design the mechanical and electrical systems for the Village of Trumansburg Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project.
Significant design aspects included a new electrical service entrance and associated gear, a new Emergency Generator System and associated automatic transfer scheme, a high-efficiency LED lighting system implemented throughout the site and all facilities, and new electrical underground infrastructure to support the improvements.
Other services included new mechanical and electrical systems associated with the headworks facility, aeration tanks, chemical feed system, secondary clarifiers, tertiary filters, ultraviolet (UV) disinfection reactors, post-aeration equipment and aerobic digesters.
A new facility-wide supervisory control and acquisition system (SCADA) was also installed.
During the project. JSE coordinated with the Village Engineer on a consistent basis to ensure the project stayed within budget and on schedule.
